The virus to beat all viruses. That's what Mydoom has become. I've taken precautions by deleting all email with executable file and .zip attachments on the server before my email software gets a sniff of the thing. Trust you're all keeping your computers safe.
Apologies for not replying to comments these past couple of days, but things have been hectic.

I am running Windows on this machine, but I use either pine or Firebird (a web-browser) to read my mail.

Hello from London! Hope you got my e-mail and phone message. Nasty business this bug. My e-mail box was stuffed with unknown messages with attachments.
Fusao
weird. I get so much spam, but only the one virus (so far).

Fusao, check your hotmail account.
Lisa, just one virus email? Wow! Being on a Mac means the usual viruses have no effect anyway (not that I go around clicking on every attachment that this way comes), but this time the number of attachment-loaded mails in my mailbox was way more than usual after such a big virus attack.
